Synopsis

When her mother tragically dies, a girl named Zoe embarks on a physical journey through the five stages of grief. Through encounters with several forest animals that are more than what they seem, Zoe is forever changed. Where the Deer Sleep is a film about what happens to us after the death of someone we love, and how we are transformed by the grief process.
